About the Piece

While driving one Sunday afternoon by the Haleiwa bridge I saw kids jumping in the water so i took the oppurtunity to capture the moment and inspired to use it as a subject for my watercolor painting.

About the Artist

After working in the architectural industry for the past few years, I decided to shift focus on to the Arts, specifically watercolor. In 2008, I attended workshops and classes at the Linekona Academy of Arts. I also joined the Hawaii Watercolor Society. Eventually, I was fortunate enough to be asked to teach watercolor at Linekona. I was able to share my thoughts and techniques from 2018 to 2020. Currently I’m teaching at Hickam Airbase Arts and Crafts Center. I also started to offer private lessons to interested individuals, such as former students.
