About the Piece

The Mediterranean Courtyard is to the right as you enter the Honolulu Museum of Art. There is a small fountain in the center. I love the beauty of this courtyard with the turquoise doors, leafy green branches hanging from the entry and the sun casting beautiful shadows most days of the year. It’s one of my favorite places!

About the Artist

I have been making art for as long as can remember and watercolor has always been my favorite media. I love the way it flows on the paper and if you let it go….it shares in the creative process of your painting. Through the years I have learned from many of the best watercolor artists and instructors at the Honolulu Museum of Art School!
