About the Piece
A view of Natatorium from the wall between Kaimana Beach and the park. The structure, hit by the sun light, had a strong three dimensional suggestive, sculpture like aspect.
About the Artist
Daniela Rocco Minerbi, a native of Italy with a Doctoral Degree in Architecture and professional license from the Polytechnical University of Milan, obtained the Fifth Year Piano Diploma at the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi. She completed the course work for a Master Degree in Urban and Regional Planning at UH. Her art works, shown nationally and internationally and in private and public collections, received awards from Windward Artists Guild, Hawai’i Watercolor Society, Vladimir Ossipoff, and recognition in the press. Daniela, a member and artist for P.A.P.P (Portable Art Portable Peace Show) of Kapiolani Community College brought it to several Italian cities. She brought the Disarmament Show of 170 original works from Milano to the Lama Library of KCC. She was invited at Freedom of Information Multi Media Installation at the Arts at Mark’s Garage, was accepted at the International Hawaii-Japan Art Juried Exhibition and was a founding member of ART-TEA SUN Art Gallery and Community Outreach in Palolo Valley.. She lectured at University of Hawai’i system teaching Painting, Italian Language, and Architecture. Daniela’s consulting services are in architectural design, conceptual and working drawings, building permits, and construction completion. She pro-bono includes design for the houseless.
